From Summer 2019 until beginning of 2022 I was Head of the Swiss Mission to the OSCE, UN and IO in Vienna / Austria.

Based on the COVID-19-Measures-Act of 15 March 2020, a first “Lockdown” was ordered. A second followed from 17 November until 6 December 2020. A third from 26 December 2020 until 18 January 2021 that was extended until 7 February 2021.

And another one from 1 April until 2 May 2021. A last one from 22 November until 12 December 2021.

OSCE and UN introduced digital working tools, so the meetings and conferences could continue in a virtual way.
Myself I introduced ZOOM-lunches and dinners.
Even the annual OSCE - Ministerial Meeting was virtually organized from Tirana, by the Albanian Chairmanship.
When there was no “lockdown”, we could have meetings, but wearing masks.
Or eating outside in tents.
In January 2022, I had my farewell speech in the OSCE.
