Those who remain are rebuilding. Friendships are often the only foundation for the future, for hope.
The war split families and broke friendships. Distance destroyed reality.
A few come back. Before the reunion there is nervousness. Do my ideas about the person correspond to reality?
Then, finally, the person stands before you. Reality. The fantasy is over. The imagination no longer speaks. The imagination falls silent.
